Appearance
The Sanyo HEC-SR1000 massage chair has the look of an executive office chair. This massage chair is fairly thin for a massage chair. It has highly varnished wood accents on the armrest and the foot rest to give it a handsome look. The arm is padded upholstery with wood grain accents on the front and back of the arm rest. The back pad and head pad are fairly plush. This massage chair only comes in black.
Incline/Recline Functions
The chair-back and footrest of this massage chair can be lowered and raised simultaneously at the touch of a button, or the footrest can be adjusted independent of the chair-back.
Massage Functions
The SR1000 comes equipped with Sanyo’s with a stiffness sensor that locates areas of physical stiffness to give a very personalized massage. The stiffness sensor gauges fatigue by monitoring changes in your perspiration and pulse rate. The stiffness sensor has the capability to detect more than 1 million patterns of stiffness measurement. The Sanyo SR1000 also has a physical shape sensor included in this massage chair. The physical shape sensor adjusts the massage rollers automatically to your body shape and shoulder height. The physical shape sensor adjusts even if your body position changes during the massage or when reclining. The SR1000 comes with 7 automatic courses for full body stimulation. There are 11 manual courses allowing you to target specific areas.
Automatic or Manual Massage Programs
he SR1000 has 11 manual massage courses which include Massage, Tapping, Combination (Massage & Tapping), Stretch 1 (long), Stretch 2 (short), Massage + Stretch 1, Massage + Stretch 2, Tapping + Stretch 1, Tapping + Stretch 2, Combination + Stretch 1, and Combination + Stretch 2. You can select from 3 roller width setting and 3 massage speed settings. There are also 7 automatic courses for full body stimulation: Neck/Shoulders, Waist, and Leg. The Leg course can be combined with the other 3 automatic courses.
