The Panasonic EP1285 TL massage lounger has a contemporary design similar to an executive chair.  This Panasonic massage chair has a nice designer look with the padded side accents below the armrest.  The armrests are padded upholstery with brushed aluminum accents.  The plush back pad is soft synthetic leather.  The head rest pillow is detachable.  The Panasonic EP1285 TL massage lounger comes in black.

The Panasonic EP 1285 TL massage lounger has 8 massage technique programs. You can also choose from four (4) auto programs with this massage chair. The 4 auto programs are Shiatsu, Deep, Gentle and Refresh which are 15 minutes in duration. There are also 3 pre-programs with neck and lower back functions. The Panasonic EP-1285 TL massage lounger provides duplicates realistic massage therapist techniques. This massage chair uses either 2 or 4 firm rubber massage heads to accurately simulate stroking with the palm of the hand or kneading with the thumbs and pressure with the thumbs. With the Panasonic EP1285 TL massage lounger you can choose from 8 basic massage techniques:

• Shiatsu – This is a firm deep-tissue style of massage that includes squeezing and finger pressure using two massage heads. If you are feeling a little stiff, this is the massage technique for you.
• Rolling – Massage pads roll up and down along your spine, relieving pressure from the compressed cervical disks and gently stretching muscles.
• Swedish – this massage technique that applies deep pressure to muscles and bones by rubbing in the same direction of the flow of blood returning the heart. The Swede-Atsu feels just like the palms of a masseuse.
• Kneading – This is a gentle squeezing with an in and out movement which is especially effective for the neck and shoulders. Try this technique to relieve stiff neck and shoulders.
• Tapping – This technique is a sensation of hands rapidly tapping on your back muscles which gives you a revitalized and invigorated feeling.
• Hawaiian – This technique performs a gentle rubbing motion across your back.
• Percussion – This technique provides a deep pressure massage to stimulate your acupressure points.
• Compression - This technique performs a firm rubbing motion across your back.
